Babe Ruth's 1920 Yankees Away Jersey

This jersey is going up for auction and is expected to be the largest baseball related memorabilia sale ever.  Bigger than the T-206 Honus Wagner.  Read the article by clicking on the jersey.  This is just exciting to me. It helps promote baseball and collecting.  Babe Ruth was a beast. If you haven't read a good book about him read this one:



It's dry because it's all about numbers, but it is also very enlightening.  They changes the rules of baseball because of the Babe. Never in sports was their a bigger gap between the talent of the league's best player and the rest of the league (not even when Michael Jordan was reigning over the NBA!).

And speaking of reading, this book:



was a fun read.  It reveals a lot about the history of baseball cards and some interesting inside scoop from the old school Topps era and brings you through the 1990s crash and where we are today.
