Our barnstormers came down from their New York experience to a slower pace in Greensboro, North Carolina. Where the food is sweet and the gals are sweeter.
Our athletes enjoyed a terrific afternoon doubleheader at the World War Memorial Stadium. Beautiful stadium dedicated to the memory of those who were lost in the Great World War. It was a full house and our boys did us proud with a great showing of athleticism and sportsmanship.
Word given to this reporter is that the players gave their good-byes to the fine hosts of Greensboro and have headed back out on the road. On to their next exciting destination!
